Elena Nefedova was born in Moscow on 1990. She successfully graduated at the Central Music School in the class of Kira Shashkina and in 2009 entered the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Since 2011 she has been studying in the class of Bulgarian pianist Ivan Donchev in Rome. In 2015 she concluded her studies at the “Santa Cecilia” Conservatory. Elena Nefedova has been a scholar of the New Names Foundation (from 2003) and the Rostropovich Foundation (from 2008). In 2008 she won a grant provided by the Russian Federation President program in support of young talented people.
Elena is a winner of several international competitions: Andrea Baldi international competition (Bologna, 2015), Skryabin Piano competition (Paris, 2007),”Vera Lotar-Shevchenko” (Novisibirsk 2010), “Magic” in Burgas (Bulgaria, 2011), “Aldo Ciccolini international competition” (Rome, 2011), “City of San Gemini” (2011). She became a laureate of the following competitions: Raсhmaninov Piano Competition in Darmshtadt (Germany), New Names Competition (chamber ensemble with Yuri Revich, violin), “Guido Alberto Fano”, “S. Thalberg” “City of Osimo”, “Prize of Roman Academy”.
She was invited to perform in France, Germany, Italy, Greece, South Africa, Portugal. Elena has performed as a soloist with the Russian National Orchestra, The Moscow Chamber Orchestra «Musica Viva», rhw Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra ans the Florence Chamber Orchestra.
