Alvise Casellati is considered one of the emerging talents of the latest years. He is President and Music Director of Central Park Summer Concerts, an organization that produces an annual free concerts, Opera Italiana in Central Park, New York, with the aim of promoting knowledge and appreciation of Italian Opera targeting in particular the young generation. After his diploma as Maestro in Violin with M° Guido Furini at the Conservatory of Music “C. Pollini” of Padova, his native City, he specializes with M° Felice Cusano and Taras Gabora. Further, he received a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Padova (School of Law), a Master Degree (LL.M.) at Columbia University, School of Law in New York focusing on copyright and he further participated in a course of “Executive Management” at Harvard University.  He was also admitted to the New York and Italian Bar. Drawn to orchestral conducting at the Vienna Musikhochshule, Leopold Hager, he commenced his studies at the Juilliard School of Music in New York and then is mentored by Maestro Piero Bellugi, of whom he becomes Assistant to his Orchestral Conducting Masterclasses in New York in June 2010. After his debut at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice with its Orchestra and Choir from the 150th Anniversary Concert of the Unity of Italy, he was Assistant Conductor to Maestro Gustav Kuhn in the 2012-2013 season at the Tiroler Festspiele Erl (Austria). He is already guest to the most important music Festivals in Italy, such as the Ravello Festival where he conducted for 3 years the famous Dawn Concert, the Spoleto Two Worlds Festival, Festival della Valle d' Itria, La Versiliana and the Venice Festival. As Resident Conductor of the Teatro Carlo Felice of Genova in 2014, his debut in opera is with Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia and then Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’Amore. He was also Director of the Ensemble Opera Studio (EOS) at Teatro Carlo Felice, where approximately 30 young singers were selected out of more than 600 international candidates to work as the stable company of the Teater. Since then, he conducts in the important theaters in Italy, such as Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova, Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, Teatro Verdi in Trieste and Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari. He further collaborated with Italian and foreign orchestras, such as:  I Pomeriggi Musicali in Milan, Haydn Orchestra of Trento and Bolzano, Orchestra internazionale d'Itaia, Orchestra of Padova & Veneto, Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana, Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese, Solisti Aquilani, Orchestra Sinfonica della Provincia di Bari, Sanremo Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Sinfonica Salernitana, Teatro Rendano Orchestra, Orchestra Filarmonica di Torino, I Virtuosi Italiani (Verona), etc.. Among the Orchestras abroad, he collaborated with Shanghai Philharmonic for the New Year Concert in Shanghai Symphony Hall, the New York Chamber Virtuosi at Merkin Hall (Lincoln Center), Orchestra Sinfonica of Mar del Plata (Argentina), Voronezh Philharmonic (Russia). He is Founder and Board Member of “La Fondazione NY” and Founder and President of the Venetian Community of New York.  He was Managing Director of the Foundation for Italian Art and Culture in New York.
