Born in Pesaro, Rosetta Cucchi graduated in piano at the Rossini Conservatory. She was the first piano of the Orchestra Sinfonica della Rai in Rome and has collaborated as coordinator of the musical preparation with various institutions. In 1999 she made her debut at La Scala in a recital with M. Devia. She then begun her career as director and designer for the Teatro della Maestranza, Wexford Opera Festival, Festival Paisiello, Teatro Colón di Bogotá, Comunale di Modena, Bologna, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Teatro di Piacenza, Teatro Alejandro Granda, Festival della Valle d'Itria, Tenerife, Teatro Gulbelkian, Lubeck, St. Gallen, La Fenice, Boston Lyric Opera. She has been collaborating with the Wexford Opera Festival as Associate to the Artistic Director and as Director. She is Artistic Director of the Arturo Toscanini Foundation.
