Graduated with the highest marks from the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Milan with Prof. Esposito, from 1992 to 2000 Roberto Arosio took part in the study group "Ottorino Respighi" of the Fondazione Cini in Venice directed by Prof. Bagnoli, with whom he perfected his studies.
In 1990 he made his debut as soloist at the Sala Verdi in Milan, performing the Concerto in Sol by Ravel with the RAI Milan Symphony Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Delman. Since then he has performed as soloist and chamber musician in Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, Spain, Poland, Portugal, Korea, Japan, Latin America, Mexico, the United States, Canada and Egypt, producing and performing with musicians of such profile as Bruno Giuranna, Mario Ancillotti, Roger Bobo, Joseph Alessi, Martin Hacklemann, Allen Vizzuti, Philip Smith, Alain Trudel and Velvet M. Brown.
He has won many international chamber music competitions including: First Prize in the internal competition Chamber music of Trapani and special prize for the Romantic Sonata, 2nd prize in Paris (FOEN), 2nd prize in the Trio Competition of Trieste and C.A.I. as best European Duo, Tina Moroni Award at the "Vittorio Gui" Competition in Florence, Nuove Carriere CIDIM (ROME) and 2nd Prize at V. Bucchi in Rome.
From 1992 to 1996 he was a member of the European Youth Orchestra (E.C.Y.O.). He recorded for the magazine Amadeus, for sax recordings, Rivo alto, Ediclass, Rainbow and Cristal and recorded radio recordings for Rai (Rome), SSDRS in Zurich, Radio France, RNE Madrid, Deutschland Radio Berlin and BBC in London. He has collaborated as an official pianist in the Guebwiller (France), Vittorio Veneto and International courses of the Accademia Chigiana held by M° B. Giuranna and at the Trumpet Accademy in Bremen (Germany). In 2005, he won the International Chamber Music Prize "Franco Gulli" from the Association Europa Musica in Rome.
He is M°Accompani in the singing class of Luisa Castellani, in the violin class of Valery Gradov and in the viola class of Bruno Giuranna at the Swiss Italian Conservatory in Lugano.
